Last week saw The Open Worlds take place at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. A huge congratulations to our Sponsored Gold dancer Irina Cherepanova and partner Stanislav for winning the Professional Ballroom. Here is what Irina wore …

For the final Irina wore this beautiful black Ballroom dress. Lace motifs adorns the stretch net bodice beautifully embellished with Swarovski® crystals. Black handkerchief georgette godets rests over white georgette creating an ombre effect that adds drama to the black design. Finished perfectly with georgette floats floating from each wrist.
During lesson with John Wood he mentioned beautiful quote of Isaac Newton that touched our hearts and this is very consonant with what we feel:
We are standing on the shoulders of a Giants!!!
And we are so lucky to have this opportunity to learn from the masters of their craft, communicate, share thoughts, to have opportunity to touch the heritage of dance geniuses, their skills and experience.
And we are always grateful for ability to preserve and build upon knowledge over the time #grateful

Irina wore this striking cobalt blue Ballroom dressin earlier rounds. Smooth velvet is beautifully ruched across the bodice creating a rich shine, enhanced with the satin chiffon skirts and floats. Beautifully embellished with Swarovski® crystals.

We are very happy to dance again in this magic place and become 3rd in amateur ballroom by being placed 2nd in tango and quickstep!!!????
